The Dreamer and the Sleeper's Top Ten in 2010

Hello friends! As a tradition we have always posted our top ten releases of the year right around New Years. Can you believe it is that time again already? This year we have added our bassist Ray into the mix. Below you will find links to each of our individual lists. We hope you enjoy looking at these and comparing them to your own favorites. Maybe you'll remember an album that you particularly liked, maybe you'll find something new, maybe you'll hate them all! Either way leave us some feedback in the comments. Happy 2011! Love, The Dreamer and the Sleeper.

Nick's Blog #023: It's Been Too Long...

Okay I know this website has been lacking in updates lately. But just know that we have been working hard this summer on both ends of The Dreamer and the Sleeper spectrum.

On one side we have begun to write our third album which will be released sometime in the year 2017. We have three songs all done, completely written, ready to be recorded one final time for the album and then we have a HUGE pile of unfinished stuff. We are just taking our time on this one and letting the songs work themselves out. It's been awesome because the first three songs are the first ever D&S songs to be worked out as a full band (as opposed to either Easton or I doing the majority of the writing for a particular song) and I think it really shows in the sound. We've been putting clips of demos up on youtube so if haven't seen them check it out.

We've also been hard at work improving our live show. We've brought our friend Tim in to play some keyboards and it has worked out great. It's allowed us to play songs that, when it was just Easton and I, were impossible to play. Songs like Kiss Kiss and Kid Icarus. Its been awesome finally being able to play those songs that we wrote like 3 or 4 years ago.

I know it's a quick update but I'll try and get on here more often to shoot some info at you guys about the new songs. Thanks for reading and sticking with us through the down time!
